‘not all those who wander are lost’

The travel bug first bit me back in 2008 on my first overseas adventure to Malaysia. The next time I ventured abroad in 2011, I set off on a five week tour of Europe with my sister. On this trip I fell in love with the idea of exploring new cities and learning new cultures.

Over the last few years I have taken advantage of my holidays as a PE teacher and have travelled all over the world from Canada and the US to South East Asia and the Pacific. I have taken on the challenge of travelling solo and have also enjoyed the opportunity for adventures closer to home in Australia.

My travel destinations are determined by my two hobbies: snowboarding and scuba diving. I have chased powder in Whistler, Banff, Aspen, Breckenridge and Queenstown and have explored reefs in Vietnam, Thailand, Vanuatu and the Great Barrier Reef.

What’s next: a move to London to teach and further explore Europe.
My future hopes: to teach in New York, road trip across the US and backpack through South America.
